- VortexLog.com reserves the right to update these terms at any time and without notice to you.
- VortexLog.com, and its logos are trademarks of Vortex Log.com. All rights reserved. All other trademarks appearing on VortexLog.com are the property of their respective owners.
- You acknowledge that VortexLog.com is not meant to replace a logbook aproved by your country's aviation agencies. This is very important.
- VortexLog.com is limited by the amount of truthful infomation you input into it.
- Recency of Experience - VortexLog.com DOES NOT include pre determined standards of any aviation agency. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING UP WITH YOUR RECENCY OF EXPERIENCE STANDARDS.
- Even though VortexLog.com automates calculations about your aviation experience, it should not be your primary means of obtaining such information.
- VortexLog.com is only to be used as a supplement to the flight or aviation experience information you already know.
- You acknowledge that your membership with VortexLog.com could be terminated or modified at any time, for any reason, and without notice. An example of this would be - for reasons beyond the administrator's control:
- Innapropriate or offensive behavior - to include faul language, discrimination, or (but not limited to) posting content sexual in nature.
- Hacking or spaming - using VortexLog.com as a means to promote a business without prior authorization or hacking an account.
- You acknowledge and agree you will not hold VortexLog.com, its affiliates, officials, or employees liable for any errors that lead to illegal aviation activity, an emergency, an accident, injuries, or death.
- You acknowledge and agree you will not hold VortexLog.com, its affiliates, officials, or employees liable for any of your information taken without permission by a third party. VortexLog.com does not share your information, and while VortexLog.com uses 256 bit SSL encryption in its logbook pages, we cannot guarantee your information will remain 100 percent secure.
- VortexLog.com is not yet compatible with mobile devices and relies on scripting for enhancement of the user experience.
- VortexLog.com is not responsible for content, errors, bugs, or viruses you may encounter on a website or document which is linked to ours. Open links at your own risk.
- You acknowledge and authorize VortexLog.com officials, employees, and computers to collect information pertinent to your operating system, browser, versions, and times and dates of use. This information will be used soleley to enhance the quality of service to you.
- You acknowledge and authorize VortexLog.com to email you information as you request it. This includes newsletters (as they become available), flight experience reports, medical certificate expiration warnings, endorsement expiration warnings, and recency of experience warnings. You may opt to not receive these notifications via email at any time from your account.
